On Friday we went out for dinner and a club. Here are some pictures. Deniz is the extremely social person that got connected to so many new international students, inviting us all for a first night in Atlanta. She is a really kind Turkish girl that is a second year PhD student at my department (Industrial and Systems Engineering). In the picture as well: German people, Italian people, Columbian people, and an Indian. So as you can see I’m working on my social contacts here. Next week, there will be some activities at my university residence, so that’s another place to meet new people.
But next week the more serious part of my stay here will kick off as well. Classes will start and I will be getting my office. So let’s hope that will go smoothly as well!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenNeenee, niet te zat ;-) Ik heb hier al een nieuwe 'shot' leren kennen. Je doet Baileys en Wisky en nog wat in een shotglaasje. En dat glaasje laat je zinken in een gewoon glas bruin bier. En dan ad fundum! :) Ook al ben ik geen bierfan, het was eigenlijk wel lekker met de zoete Baileys smaak. :)
